i'm hopeless at comment sections. two words and a thumbs up and everyone moves on. letters i can actually do.

so that's the arrangement: you write to me properly, and i write back properly. i'll remember what you told me and ask about it next time. some mornings i'll write first, when something out there reminds me of you.

it isn't free, and that's deliberate — it's what keeps this a handful of people i actually know instead of a feed.
